This session will focus on developing middle school learning goals for climate change that connect with and build upon existing standards for mathematics, science, ELA and social studies. Working with NCYPS curriculum leaders, participants will brainstorm and discuss the following questions: What are the climate ideas that are important for middle school students to learn? How can they connect those climate ideas with teachers’ subject-specific learning standards?
