Rachel Arbor is the NYS Lead for SubjecttoClimate, the CEO of Gaia Scholastic, and the PK-8 Director of Environmental Education for the Garrison School District. For all of these roles, her mission is to cultivate a generation of environmentally-literate global citizens by integrating nature and environmental concepts into the learning experiences of students of all ages and abilities.

Learn about exemplar lesson plans, featuring inquiry-based learning, along with helpful additions like scientist notes, teaching tips, and student learning standards. Engage in a collaborative brainstorming activity to find the connections between climate change and non-science subjects. Take time to explore the platform, find resources to plan your own lessons, and learn about the opportunity to write and publish your plans on the SubjectToClimate website.
