Ann Rivet is an Associate Professor at Teachers College Columbia University and Associate Director of the Center for Sustainable Futures. Her research focuses on Earth and environmental science education, emphasizing instructional design and assessment at middle and secondary school levels. She is actively involved in advancing Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) and developing curriculum materials for science education.

This is the first of a series of sessions during which workshop participants will ask, review, organize, and answer their own and colleagues’ questions about climate change and climate change teaching. In this session, participants will generate initial questions in two main categories: questions about climate change, and questions about teaching.
